Angela's Graduation

My sister Angela has been going to school to be a nurse as long as I can remember. She is the most dedicated, strong willed person I have ever met. I am so proud of her.

Tessica, Angela, and Me.

Angela and her two boys, Dominique and Davian.

Angela and her hubby Ben.

Community Health Race

I had so much fun this last race. I am already a big fan of running in races but this one was especially fun because I had a group of friends and family running with me. We all did great. I placed 18th overall and 4th in my age group. Tessica placed 2nd in her age group and 10th overal (smokin'). Victor placed 2nd in his age group as well. Travis, Rachel, and my sis Angela did great especially for their very first race. My buddy Camile and her girl Megan came out to watch us and took most of the pictures. Thanks Camile!

LAST DAY AT KINGSTON

April 24th was my last day at Kingston & Associates Marketing where I worked for over two and a half years as an International Commerce Coordinator. I enjoyed my time there, especially the people. Here are some pictures from my last day.

Spring time!

Enrique is loving the nicer weather! We have such a hard time keeping him inside now.

Movie night!

Rachel, Camile, and I got together again last weekend to have dinner and watch a movie. Camile's bbq chicken was delicious and I just love how comfy I am at her house. We watched Twlight since we have all read the book. The movie was better than expected but not fantastic. Needed a better budget is all.

Performance Best Fitness Run 3/21/09

This last weekend, Jody and I ran in the PB Fitness Run to warm up for the To-Bone-and-Back Race in June. It was a bit chilly at first but the weather turned out to be perfect for running. It was really intimidating running next to such an awesome long time runner. I was able to stick with him the majority of the race but fell a little behind the last quarter mile of the race. As soon as I saw the finish line, I did my best to close the gap between us. I almost succeeded and finished literally a couple seconds behind him. He finished in 26 min 8 sec and I clocked in at 26 min 10 sec (yeah baby!) shedding a little over 30 seconds off my previous best time. I was so proud of Jody, who ran great after a long recovery from knee surgery. Turns out my time was good enough to put me in 2nd place for women and 13th place overall. So happy. Can't wait to go at it again. I highly recommend to all my family and friends to join me next time.

My little helper

Enrique made a big mess while eating his lunch. I pointed it out to him when he was done and jokingly told him that he had to clean it up. I turned to wash the dishes and next thing I know he had a napkin in one hand and the broom in the other trying to clean up his mess. He made an even bigger mess by pushing his lunch all over the rest of the kitchen, buy hey I gotta give it up to my boy for trying.
